The Collective Management Organisations members of OnLineArt ensure that creators receive fair compensation for the online use of their works.
This way, users can develop their visual projects with legal confidence and ethical integrity, while artists are fairly compensated for the value they contribute to society.
Our Members
CMOs play a crucial role in ensuring a stable revenue stream for authors while also facilitating user access to copyrighted works in a cost-effective manner.
CMOs issue tailored licenses, both nationally and internationally, serving a wide range of users such as publishers, museums, archives, libraries, universities, and various companies specialising in film productions, broadcasting, news, fashion, gaming and so much more.
Authors authorise CMOs to manage their rights on their behalf. CMOs collect and distribute royalties, including reprography, private copying, and cable retransmission.
In summary, the role of CMOs is to simplify the rights clearance process in projects involving works from different countries for their members by providing efficient, cost-effective “one-stop” licensing solutions.
